At primary school, one of the fantastic ways we were taught, apart from Banda sheets and sentence builder folders, was using the Language Reader. Words on bits of card would be run through the machine and an electronic voice would say the word. Since we had to be supervised I fail to see how it saved the teacher time. You could write your own words and record the sound yourself. Does anyone else remember these?
