toy

This is my favourite politically incorrect toy, found in a tat shop in Littlehampton (a town for peasants). It's not just that small girls should be thought to want their own minature collection of their mother's cleaning tools, but rather how out of date they all are! From left to right, there's:
a shovel, a rake, a coal scuttle, a hoe, a washboard, a dustpan, two brushes, a bucket , a pan and a bowl.
This Chinese-made toy is mathematically precise, announcing 'not suitable for children under 36 months (3 Years)'. It also declares 'Small part'. The makers Town Mouse Toys don't appear to have a web site otherwise I would like to see their range of other toys.
I actually bought two of these, and gave one to Kath as an ironic wedding present. She never mentioned it so I'm worried she didn't get the joke.
