I never realised the pound shop in Staines could be such a goldmine for out-of-favour pop stars. You may remember Mandy for being sub-Britney/Christina right before they bared their bodies. Britney has her own film Crossroads, but so does Mandy, about a nice girl who dies at the end but still gets to sing and snog, presumably (I haven't seen it). Mandy was also on the advert where her hair loses its shine ('fade, fade, fade' - quite like her career). Anyway, now she's in Staines, with her bag and magazine, which consists of 4 pictures of her. There's also an inspirational message on the back about FAME:
